After over 40 years in medicine, 30 of those years at Dowd Medical Associates, I am writing to tell you of my plan to retire. The effective date of my retirement will be October 31, 2022, at which time I will no longer be able to treat you.
As you know, Linda Fallon, NP accepted a new position in March 2022. Additionally, Kimberly Angelini, DNP will soon be on maternity leave.
I am collaborating over the ensuing months with practitioners at Nova Womens’ Health in North Reading and Burlington Obgyn Associates in Burlington to provide you with professionals that I trust to care for you. These include:

Your records will continue to be on file at Dowd Medical Associates. To request transfer of your records, please complete a consent for “Authorization to Release Healthcare Information”. It is available on our website, under “forms”. You can email this to gynmedrecords@dowdmed.com or mail it to:

A reasonable fee will be charged to cover the cost of transfer. Records will then be transferred to Nova Women’s Health, Burlington Obgyn Associates or a physician of your choosing.
If you wish to find another physician, I suggest that you contact your health plan or the Massachusetts Medical Society customer service line at 781-434-7311 which operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After providing authorization, a copy of your records will be transferred to your new physician.
